La Marqueza Mexican Tacos & Market is a vibrant, full-service restaurant and cultural hub in Osoyoos BC. Owned and operated by Mara Marquez & Miguel Reynoso since 2014, the business is deeply rooted in heritage and heart.
Our restaurant was born from a passion for traditional Mexican recipes, bringing the flavours form the north to the south of Mexico. We celebrate the richness and diversity of our heritage with every dish, made with love and authenticity.

We take pride in offering truly authentic and traditional Mexican flavours, To ensure that every bite tastes just like it does in Mexico, we import original ingredients directly from our homeland. From chiles and spices to flours and grains. We also all prioritize quality in every detail, using only grass-fed meats to bring out the best flavour in our dishes.

About Us

This restaurantā€™s story begins with Mara and Miguel surrounded by food – watching our families prepare everything from scratch with care, passion, and pride. We were taught that food is more than just nourishment ā€“ itā€™s a way to show love, to connect and to honor our roots. That belief has become the heart of La Marqueza.

Every dish we serve is made with intention, just like home, because for us, food is family, tradition and love.

La Marqueza started in 2014 as a Mexican specialty market bringing beloved food goodies and ingredients straight from Mexico. In 2019, we expanded to a new location where we began serving authentic Mexican food, quickly becoming known for the most famous tacos in the area. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the restaurant pivoted swiftly to takeout and delivery, becoming a go-to for many South Okanagan communities.

Thanks to overwhelming support and high demand, weā€™ve grown once again ā€“ now proudly welcoming guests to our newest location at 8526 Main Street in Osoyoos featuring a comfy patio. Open seasonally from March to mid-December, La Marqueza Mexican Tacos & Market is a well-known destination for great food – serving locals, travelers, and for many seasonal hardworking farm workers who inspired its founding. All are drawn not only by the bold, traditional flavours but by the warmth, care, and traditions that define the La Marqueza experience.

Our Hours

Open: March 1 ā€“ Mid-December

Closed: Wednesdays and during the winter: Mid-December to March 1

Hours: Monday to Sunday (except Wed) 11 AMā€“7 PM

Extended evening hours to 8 pm begin after May 24!
